What you should know
Data quality depends on the companies’ own reporting: the Danish Utility Regulator (Forsyningstilsynet) has on several occasions had to issue orders over incorrect or missing reports (including Velkommen A/S, 28 Nov 2025).

What we saw
Ranking: Default sort: “Sorter efter estimat” (“Sort by estimate”), the 6-month total price. The ranking logic is not explained on the results page, and introductory offers are mixed in, in a way that is not transparent (e.g. AURA “Rabat 500 kr.” (“Discount DKK 500”) sits in position 52 despite the lowest 6-month price).
Price basis: Full price including spot (latest month), the grid tariff for the postcode, Energinet, electricity duty and VAT.
Updates: No visible “updated” date on the results page; the data feed has “lastUpdate” per product, and the companies must report changes “immediately and no later than on entry into force”.
Method on the site: No method page alongside the results; the rules are set out in the executive order.
Error reporting: Forsyningstilsynet exercises oversight and can issue reprimands/orders; decisions are published on elpris.dk.
