The site states in its text that the placements above the table are advertisements; the highlighted partner boxes do not themselves carry an “Annonce” (“Advertisement”) label (observed 2 Nov 2026: the only “ANNONCE” text is next to the sorting line).

Adlab’s Trackwise supplies tracking links to elportalen.dk and price data/links to tjekelpris.dk: one company is behind the feed or links of several competing sites.

How does the site make money?

Commission per referred customer (Adtraction/Partner-ads + its own Trackwise platform) + paid highlighted placements above the table. Second-highest traffic among private sites (about 210,000 visits/month according to Semrush, Sep 2026; Strømligning about 590,000), mainly on “electricity prices hour by hour”.

Does a retailer have to pay to be listed?

Partly. 16 companies are shown with a price; 31 of 34 rows have a “Gå til udbyder” (“Go to provider”) button (3 priced rows without a button). The remaining companies, about 50, appear only as names without a price in a company index.

The site does not show Osmund. This earns no points.

What does the site say itself?
