Portaltjek is published by the electricity retailer Osmund, which pays no comparison site and benefits when sites show the whole market. The analysis was carried out with AI, following a public method.
What you should know
“Complete overview” = 10 names, 5 with a price.
Two of the five “cheapest” (Nettopower, Velkommen) were bankrupt/sold in 2026.
Who is behind it?
Unknown: no company or CVR anywhere, not in the privacy policy either.
Sister sites: elspejder.dk (possibly: identical partner block, not confirmed)
How does the site make money?
Commission via Adtraction (go.adt253.net, to.norlys.dk) and Smartresponse.
Does a retailer have to pay to be listed?
Yes: “The 5 cheapest” are the 5 partners (Norlys, EWII, Nettopower, Velkommen, Altid Energi).
The site does not show Osmund. This earns no points.
What does the site say itself?
“Komplet oversigt” (“Complete overview”) / “over 50 aktive elselskaber” (“over 50 active electricity companies”)
